TalkTo.AceHardware.com Survey: TalkToAce Routes and the Two $500 Monthly Gift Cards

We opened TalkTo.AceHardware.com on October 28, 2026, followed it to Medallia’s TalkToAce page, then read the rules PDF, the winners list and an older rules page that Ace’s survey partner still hosts.

We’re not Ace. myreceiptsays.com is a separate site with no link to Ace Hardware Corporation, Gallup or Medallia. The Journal number on your receipt belongs in Ace’s survey alone, and nobody here will ask you for it.

Both addresses land on the same survey. After that, the first question is whether you have a receipt from your recent visit, and either answer lets you continue.

TalkTo.AceHardware.com forwards to survey3.medallia.com/talktoace. The page’s footer reads “Gallup, Inc.”, which runs it on Medallia software.

In short: the TalkToAce survey ends with an entry into a monthly drawing for one of two $500 Ace gift cards. The start page says “No Purchase Necessary. Sweepstakes ends 12/31/26. Must be 18 years old to enter.” You can take it with or without a receipt. However, the rules link on that page still opens Ace’s 2025 rules, so treat 2026 entry limits and dates as likely, not confirmed.

What TalkToAce pays out each month

The survey’s welcome screen is direct about it: you can enter our monthly drawing for a chance to win one of 2 $500 Gift Cards. As a result, two people win each month, and finishing the survey doesn’t guarantee anything.

The winners list Ace links from the same page backs this up. Specifically, it names Ace Hardware gift card winners for every month from January to September 2026, about two a month, with first name, last initial, city and state. In addition, under the 2025 rules, the cards were $500.00 Ace gift cards with no cash value and a limit of one prize per person or household for the year.

However, home improvement rivals pay differently. For instance, Lowe’s survey drawing pays its five monthly winners by check rather than store credit. Ace’s prize, by contrast, can only be spent at Ace. Meanwhile, two winners a month adds up to 24 a year, well ahead of Publix’s three $1,000 quarterly winners in sheer numbers.

TalkTo.AceHardware.com rules: what’s confirmed for 2026

DetailStated on the 2026 survey pageFrom the 2025 rules (still linked)
Prize“one of 2 $500 Gift Cards” each monthTwo $500.00 Ace gift cards per monthly period
End date“Sweepstakes ends 12/31/26”December 31, 2025
Age18 or older18 or older; 50 states and D.C.
Purchase“No Purchase Necessary”Four entry methods, including mail
Entry limitNot statedOne per day per person or email address, across all methods
Receipt codeNot statedThe Journal # on the receipt, usable once
DrawingMonthlyAround the 10th of the next month

Above all, a daily limit is unusual. Most monthly drawings cap you at one entry a month, while Ace’s 2025 rules allowed one a day. Ross works the same way, since Ross also lets you enter once a day. Therefore, if Ace kept that rule for 2026, regular shoppers get many more chances than the survey page suggests.

Find your TalkToAce route and drawing month

Pick what you have and the date you’ll enter. Then the tool names the route Ace’s rules describe for that situation and the monthly drawing your entry joins. It runs in your browser and doesn’t send anything. Multi-route surveys aren’t unique to Ace; see LongHorn’s four-way entry guide, which includes email invitations too.

What TalkToAce asks for

The first screen has one required question: First, do you have a receipt from your recent visit? Answer Yes or No, and then press Begin Survey.

Ace’s 2025 rules explain both paths. With a receipt, you enter the Journal # from the receipt, which the rules call the Code, exactly as printed. However, each Code works only once. Without one, you pick your store from drop-down menus and carry on. That no-receipt path is rare among store surveys; Target won’t start without the receipt’s login pair, for comparison.

Besides those two, Ace Rewards members have a third door. If you link a purchase to your Rewards profile at checkout, Ace emails you a survey invitation. Loyalty-linked surveys reward differently elsewhere; Kroger ties its survey to a fuel-point bonus instead of a drawing.

Also, the rules set no deadline after purchase. Still, the 2025 rules grouped entries by the month you made them, so a December receipt surveyed in January joins January’s drawing.

How to take the Ace Hardware survey

  2. Next, answer Yes if you have a receipt from your visit, or No if you don’t, then press Begin Survey.
  3. With a receipt, type the Journal number exactly as printed; without one, choose your store from the menus.
  4. Next, answer the questions about your Ace Hardware visit.
  5. At the end, fill in the entry form for the monthly drawing of two $500 Ace gift cards.

When TalkTo.AceHardware.com gives you trouble

  • The address seems to change. That’s expected, because TalkTo.AceHardware.com hands you to survey3.medallia.com/talktoace. Both are fine.
  • Code refused. First, check you typed the Journal number, not the transaction total or store number. Also, a Code that has already been used won’t work again.
  • Lost the receipt. Answer No to the first question and choose your store instead. That way, you can still enter the drawing.
  • No entry form at the end. The welcome screen promises the chance to enter after the questions, so finish every page. If it still doesn’t appear, then the mail-in route is the fallback.
  • Problems with the page itself. The footer’s Survey Support link emails Gallup’s customer support about the Ace survey. Other chains use the same platform, such as CVS’s Medallia survey, so the layout may look familiar.

Ace’s own TalkToAce pages disagree

Ace pageWhat it saysWhat we make of it
Survey start page (2026)Two $500 cards a month; ends 12/31/26The current offer
Its “full contest rules” linkOpens the 2025 rules, ending 12/31/25Outdated, but likely close to 2026’s terms
Winners list on the same pageWinners for January to September 2026Confirms drawings are running in 2026
Older rules page on medallia.gallup.comDescribes a “$50 gift card sweepstakes”A leftover from an earlier promotion

In other words, if you read about a $50 Ace survey prize, it’s stale. Instead, the $500 figure is the one on the live survey. Rules lag behind elsewhere too; Stop & Shop’s newest findable rules date from 2024, which is why we flag the year every time.

Fake Ace Hardware prize messages

The real survey lives at survey3.medallia.com/talktoace and shows Gallup’s copyright, plus Gallup, Ace and cookie policy links. Also, it never asks for card numbers or fees.

Texts or emails claiming you’ve won an Ace gift card but must pay shipping are scams; the FTC notes that genuine prizes are free. Similarly, Ace Rewards invitations come after a purchase you linked yourself, so an unexpected “Ace survey” email deserves suspicion. Walgreens shoppers face similar bait, and our Walgreens survey page explains the genuine phone and mail routes there.

Enter the TalkToAce drawing by mail

The 2025 rules gave this free method, and the 2026 start page still says no purchase is necessary:

  1. Hand-print your name, full address, city, state, ZIP, daytime phone number and birth date on a 3″ x 5″ card.
  2. Mail it in its own envelope to: Ace Hardware® Customer Engagement Survey Promotion Entry, PO Box 728, Social Circle, GA 30025-728.
  3. Make sure it’s postmarked by the last day of the month you want to enter.

In 2025, cards also had to arrive by about the 7th to 9th of the next month, and photocopies weren’t accepted. Because Ace hasn’t posted 2026 rules, check the rules link before relying on this address. Other mail-in routes add their own twists; TJX wants the store brand on the envelope, for example. By comparison, H-E-B’s sweepstakes accepts one mailed entry a day, much like Ace’s daily cap.

Finally, the winners list is easier, since Ace posts it as a PDF linked from the survey’s first page.

If Ace posts its 2026 rules, they replace every 2025 detail above. We’ll look again in January, when a 2027 promotion would start.
