InformTarget.com Survey: Target’s Receipt Login and the Gift Card Question

Before writing this InformTarget guide on October 27, 2026, we typed informtarget.com into a browser, followed it to Target’s survey on survey.medallia.com and read that page in full.

This is not Target. Target Brands, Inc. and Medallia, which hosts the survey, play no part in myreceiptsays.com. So the User ID and Password on your receipt belong in Target’s survey alone, and we never ask for them.

Open Target’s survey via www.InformTarget.com

Get your Target receipt, then tap the button:

Open survey.medallia.com/target

InformTarget.com forwards to this address, survey.medallia.com/target, which is run by Medallia, Target’s survey company. Target’s own sample receipt now prints this Medallia address, so either one gets you there.

The straight answer: typing InformTarget.com takes you to Target’s survey on survey.medallia.com/target. Then enter the User ID and Password from near the bottom of your receipt. Target calls the survey “brief (less than 2 minutes)”. Its start page offers no prize, gift card or coupon and names no deadline, so we found no sign of the $25 and $1,500 gift cards some guides promise.

Does the InformTarget survey give a gift card?

Not that we could find. The survey’s start page thanks you for shopping and asks for feedback, and that’s all. In fact, it mentions no reward, no drawing, no coupon and no rules. SurveyMemo reaches the same conclusion: Unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be any type of reward for taking this survey.

So the reason to take it is simply to tell Target what went well or badly. If a receipt or a message ever promises a Target survey prize, check that it points to Target’s own survey address before you share anything.

Is the Target survey worth your two minutes?

It depends on what you want from it. Since there’s no gift card, the only payoff is that Target hears about your trip. That’s useful when a team member helped you, or when something went wrong at checkout.

Before you start, though, know where your answers go. The survey page links Target’s privacy policy, its Your Privacy Choices page, its California privacy rights page and its health privacy policy. So you can read how Target handles survey answers first.

For a refund, a missing order or a pharmacy question, however, the survey isn’t the right tool. Contact Target’s guest service directly instead, because a survey answer doesn’t open a support case.

What InformTarget.com asks for

The start page reads Please enter your Survey User ID and Password, which is near the bottom of your receipt. Both fields are required, and neither has a published length.

Target also shows an example receipt. For instance, its description says the User ID and Password can be found on the bottom half of the receipt just after this survey address. Meanwhile, a Choose Language menu at the top switches between English and Spanish.

There’s no other way in, such as a store number form, and no published deadline. We also didn’t add a checker here, because Target publishes no date, time or code rule to check against.

How to take the InformTarget survey

  1. First, find the survey address with the User ID and Password on the bottom half of your Target receipt.
  2. Next, type informtarget.com or survey.medallia.com/target into your browser.
  3. Then choose English or Spanish from the Choose Language menu.
  4. Enter the User ID and the Password exactly as printed, then select Next.
  5. Then answer the short questions about your Target trip, which Target says take less than 2 minutes.
  6. Finally, submit your answers, although the start page promises no prize or code.

When the Target survey won’t open

  • If informtarget.com doesn’t load, type survey.medallia.com/target instead, because that’s where it forwards and what newer receipts print.
  • When the survey rejects your login, check both the User ID and the Password, since the page requires both.
  • If you can’t find them, look just after the survey address on the bottom half of the receipt, as Target’s example shows.
  • When you want to complain about an order or get a refund, use Target’s guest service instead, because this survey isn’t a support channel.

InformTarget claims that don’t match the survey

The claimWhat we found
“an opportunity to instantly win a $25 Target Gift Card” (thesurveyhelp.net)However, the start page mentions no prize of any kind
“a monthly lucky draw for a chance to win a $1,500 Gift Card” (thesurveyhelp.net)Again, the start page links no drawing and no rules
“Purchase Receipt: Not required” (thesurveyhelp.net)In fact, you can’t start without the User ID and Password printed on a receipt
“enter that user ID into the form and hit the big red “Next” button” (informtarget.surveymemo.com)However, the form also requires the Password

Spotting fake Target survey sites

Target’s survey lives on survey.medallia.com/target, and informtarget.com simply forwards there. Lookalike sites such as informtarget.com.co use the name but aren’t Target, and this site isn’t Target either. So enter your User ID and Password only on the Medallia page.

Also, Target’s survey asks for no card details or fees. So any “Target gift card winner” message that wants payment or bank details is a scam, and the FTC says real prizes never cost money.

Is there a Target survey sweepstakes or mail-in entry?

We found none. The start page links no drawing or rules, so there’s no entry form and no mail-in address to use.
