TalkToFoodLion.com Survey: Is the $500 Gift Card Still On?

TalkToFoodLion.com Survey: Is the $500 Gift Card Still On?

This TalkToFoodLion guide draws on the live survey and its sample receipt. It also uses the two expired sweepstakes rule sets we found.

Food Lion isn’t involved here. We’re an outside guide, unconnected to Food Lion or Ahold Delhaize, and we only explain how the survey works. Your PIN and receipt stay with you.

Take the survey at www.TalkToFoodLion.com

Food Lion’s survey page doesn’t show up in Google, so a search mostly turns up lookalike guides. Instead, type the address printed on your receipt, or use this button:

Open TalkToFoodLion.com

This goes to TalkToFoodLion.com, which forwards you to the Customer Feedback Survey on aholddelhaize.az1.qualtrics.com. Ahold Delhaize is the company that owns Food Lion, and Qualtrics makes the survey software.

In short: go to TalkToFoodLion.com within 5 days of your visit and type the 16-digit PIN from the bottom of your receipt. The survey takes a few minutes, and you can take it in Spanish too. As for the $500 gift card, the last sweepstakes rules Food Lion published ran from April 1 to June 30, 2025, and today’s start screen and sample receipt don’t mention a prize.

The 16-digit PIN the TalkToFoodLion survey asks for

The start screen asks just one thing: Please enter your PIN to take the survey. Underneath, it adds Your PIN is located at the bottom of your receipt. The receipt prints the PIN in four groups of four, but the sample shows it typed as one run of 16 digits.

For example, the sample receipt on that screen shows 0702 0219 9006 0002 under Use the PIN # below to start:, and it labels 0702021990060002 a 16 DIGIT PIN. The same sample says Within the next 5 days please visit: www.talktofoodlion.com and También disponible en español.

There’s also a Language menu at the top of the screen. The survey says it should take a few minutes to complete, and it links to the Food Lion Privacy Statement at the bottom.

Is your Food Lion receipt still inside the 5 days?

The receipt says to take the survey Within the next 5 days. Enter the date printed on your receipt and the checker counts the days for you. Since the receipt names no time zone, it uses your device’s calendar, and it runs in your browser without sending anything.

How to take the TalkToFoodLion survey, step by step

  1. First, find the “How was your visit?” message at the bottom of your Food Lion receipt and the 16-digit PIN under it.
  2. Within 5 days of your visit, type TalkToFoodLion.com into your browser’s address bar.
  3. If you’d rather not answer in English, check the Language menu at the top of the start screen.
  4. Type all 16 digits of the PIN as one run, then select Next.
  5. Answer the questions about your visit, from the 0 to 10 recommendation score to the store, checkout and department ratings.
  6. Finally, read the last screen. If it offers a sweepstakes entry, follow the rules it links to.

What the Food Lion survey asks

The survey’s questionnaire pages cover a lot of ground. First, it asks whether anyone in your household, including you, works for Food Lion, and then it asks your age. Next comes How likely are you to recommend Food Lion to a friend, family member, or co-worker? on a 0 to 10 scale, followed by a box asking why you chose that score.

After that, most questions use a 1 to 10 scale, from Poor to Excellent. They cover your overall shopping experience, the service, whether you’d shop at the same store next time, checkout, cleanliness, prices, sale signage and the freshness of produce and meat. The survey also rates the cashier and how your groceries were bagged.

Then it asks which departments you visited, such as Produce, Deli/Bakery or Meat/Seafood, and has you rate each one. Finally, it asks whether you used the self-serve checkout, and if you did, how easy it was.

Is the $500 TalkToFoodLion gift card sweepstakes still running?

We couldn’t confirm it. The last rules Food Lion published ended on June 30, 2025. Today, the survey’s start screen, its sample receipt and TalkToFoodLion.com itself mention no prize or rules.

Those 2025 rules, titled the Talk to Food Lion Customer Satisfaction Survey Sweepstakes, gave away 10 Food Lion gift cards of $500 in each monthly entry period, from April 1 to June 30, 2025. That’s 30 gift cards in total, and it’s where the $500 in other guides comes from. Food Lion has run this sweepstakes in set windows before, such as January to March 2019, so it may come back.

Meanwhile, treat any $500 promise as unconfirmed. The 2025 rules said a copy would be available at www.talktofoodlion.com during the sweepstakes, so that’s where new rules should appear. If your survey does offer a sweepstakes entry, the rules linked on that screen are what count.

What other TalkToFoodLion guides get wrong

When we compared guides that show up in searches for talktofoodlion with the rules, two presented old sweepstakes terms as if they still applied.

What the guide saysWhat the evidence shows
The sweepstakes runs from April 1, 2026 to June 30, 2026 (www-talktofoodlion.com)Its postmark, arrival and drawing dates match the 2025 rules day for day, it lists an “April 31, 2026” that doesn’t exist, and we found no 2026 rules
“There are six entry periods” (www-talktofoodlion.com)Its own table, like the 2025 rules, lists only three
A rules link with no dates beside it (talktofoodlion.customer-survey.com)That file covers January 1 to March 31, 2019

Is there still a free mail-in entry?

Not one we could find. The only recent mail-in address belongs to the 2025 rules, whose last cards needed a postmark by July 1 and had to arrive by July 9, 2025. So don’t post a card there unless newer rules say to.

When TalkToFoodLion.com won’t take your PIN

  • If the PIN is rejected, type all 16 digits as one run, just as the sample receipt shows.
  • When you count fewer or more than 16 digits, check the bottom of the receipt again, since that’s where the PIN is printed.
  • If more than 5 days have passed since your visit, the receipt’s window has closed. In that case, look for a survey invitation on your next receipt.
  • When your receipt has no “How was your visit?” message, it has no survey invitation, so there’s nothing to enter.

Lookalike TalkToFoodLion sites

The address on Food Lion receipts is www.talktofoodlion.com, with a dot after “www”. However, www-talktofoodlion.com puts a hyphen there and runs its own “survey” page, and sites such as talktofoodlion.page and talktofoodlion.store aren’t Food Lion either. Neither is this site, so type your PIN only on the real survey.

Also, the survey never asks for payment. If a message says you’ve won $500 and asks for a fee, gift card numbers or bank details, it isn’t from Food Lion. According to the FTC, real prizes are free.
