Every date, address and Dept. code on this Walgreens survey page comes from Walgreens’ monthly sweepstakes rules. We read them alongside the WalgreensListens.com start screen. Because the rules change each month, the update date at the top shows how fresh this copy is.
Independent, not Walgreens. We explain the WalgreensListens survey from the outside. So we’ll never ask you for its survey number, password or anything personal.
Take the Walgreens survey at WalgreensListens.com
According to Walgreens’ official rules, the survey is at www.walgreenslistens.com. Its page does show up in Google, alongside plenty of lookalike guides with similar names, so check the address bar before you type anything.
Go to www.walgreenslistens.com
This button goes to walgreenslistens.com, the survey site Walgreens uses. Before you start, have your receipt ready, because you must finish within 72 hours of getting the invitation.

www.walgreenslistens.com $3000 or $500?
The current rules say: One (1) Grand Prize: Grand Prize Winner will receive a digital $500.00 Walgreens Gift Card.
We’ve seen that same prize in every month’s rules we’ve checked since August 2026. There’s one winner a month, picked by random drawing, so the odds depend on how many entries come in.
However, the $3,000 figure is old. A Walgreens receipt quoted in a 2011 blog post read Enter our monthly sweepstakes for $3,000 CASH
, and guides have copied it ever since. If you win today, Walgreens emails the gift card after you verify a mailing address and sign a Release and Waiver, and you pay any taxes.
If you live in Puerto Rico, the survey’s start screen says residents aged 18 or older get a coupon code for $1 off your next purchase of $5 or more
instead of a sweepstakes entry.
In short: the Walgreens survey is at www.walgreenslistens.com, needs the survey number, password and visit time from your receipt, and must be finished within 72 hours of getting the invitation. US residents can then enter a monthly sweepstakes for one $500 Walgreens gift card, once per person per month, or enter free by phone or mail.

When do your 72 hours run out?
The rules say surveys must be completed within 72 hours upon receipt of the Invitation.
Enter the date and time you got yours, such as the time printed on your receipt. The checker counts on your device’s clock and runs in your browser, so nothing is sent anywhere. Walgreens’ own clock decides the deadline, so leave yourself a margin.
Two free ways in if you have no receipt or missed the 72 hours
According to the rules, there’s NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND NECESSARY TO WIN.
By phone: call 1-855-855-5905 during the month and complete the automated survey. When you finish, the rules say you will receive one entry into the sweepstakes.
By mail: hand print your name, age, complete address, and daytime and evening phone numbers on a 3 x 5-inch piece of paper. Don’t type or photocopy it, because the rules say Mechanically reproduced entries will not be accepted.
Then mail it to:
Dept. S9920
P.O. Box 4006
Grand Rapids, MN 55731-4006
The Dept. code and the first line change with each month’s rules, so check the current rules before you post. Phone and mail entries also count toward the same one-entry limit as the survey.
What the Walgreens survey asks for first
The survey’s start screen says: Please enter the SURVEY # and PASSWORD located at the bottom of your receipt.
It then asks for your Time of Visit from a drop-down list. For example, the sample receipt on that screen shows the survey number and password in groups of four, four and three digits, with the visit time printed next to the date.
The rules also accept the invoice number
from an invitation, and say some customers who agreed to Walgreens emails get their invitation by email. There’s also a language menu on the start screen. To be eligible for the sweepstakes, the screen says you must be a legal US resident aged 18 or older, although the rules raise that to 19 in Alabama and Nebraska.

How to take the Walgreens survey, step by step
- Before you start, find the SURVEY# and PASSWORD at the bottom of your Walgreens receipt, and note the time printed next to the date.
- Then, within 72 hours of getting the invitation, type www.walgreenslistens.com into your browser’s address bar.
- Enter the survey number and password exactly as printed, then pick your time of visit from the list and select Next.
- Answer the questions about your visit until the survey ends.
- When the survey ends, take the offer to enter the sweepstakes and accept the official rules. Puerto Rico residents get a $1 coupon code instead.
- That counts as your one entry for the month’s sweepstakes, since the rules allow one per person, whether you enter online, by phone or by mail.
If the survey won’t let you in
- When the survey number or password is rejected: copy both from the bottom of your receipt exactly, digit by digit, because 0 and O, and 1 and I, are easy to mix up. We can’t see why the survey site turns down a particular code, though.
- If you’re not sure which time to pick: use the time printed next to the date on your receipt.
- If it’s been more than 72 hours: online entry for that invitation has closed, but phone and mail entry stay open until the month’s deadlines, as long as you haven’t entered this month.
- If your receipt has no survey invitation: use the free phone or mail entry instead.
- If you live in Puerto Rico: you’ll be offered the $1 coupon code instead of a sweepstakes entry.
- If you’re still stuck: Walgreens lists customer care at 1-800-925-4733 (1-800-WALGREENS) on its contact page. However, that’s a different number from the sweepstakes phone entry line.
What other WalgreensListens guides get wrong
For example, walgreenslistens.it.com, a guide that ranks for these searches, gets four things wrong when compared to Walgreens’ current rules.
| What the guide says | What the rules say |
|---|---|
| A “$3000 cash prize” paid “via check or direct deposit” | One digital $500.00 Walgreens Gift Card, emailed to the winner |
| Take the survey “within 7 days of your visit” | Within 72 hours of receiving the invitation |
| Enter by “telephone survey at 1-800-925-4733” | The phone entry line is 1-855-855-5905, while the 1-800 number is Walgreens customer care. |
| A “20-digit survey code, 4-digit password” | The survey’s sample receipt shows both in groups of 4, 4 and 3 digits. |
Spotting fake Walgreens survey sites
The real survey is at walgreenslistens.com, while the rules are hosted on walgreens.com. Several sites with similar names, such as walgreenslistens.it.com, aren’t Walgreens, and neither is this one. Of course, we never ask for your receipt or details.
In fact, the real winner is notified by email and asked to verify a mailing address and sign a release. No real sweepstakes asks for a fee, shipping costs, gift card purchases or bank details, so treat any such request, or any message promising $3,000, as a red flag. According to the FTC, real prizes are free.
