TalkToWendys.com Survey: Validation Code for Your Wendy’s Receipt Offer

TalkToWendys.com Survey: Validation Code for Your Wendy’s Receipt Offer

Checked October 27, 2026: we opened the WendysWantsToKnow start page and followed TalkToWendys.com to see where it lands, then held both up against SMG’s survey terms and the best-known Wendy’s survey guides.

A reader’s guide, not a Wendy’s site. The Wendy’s Company and SMG aren’t involved with myreceiptsays.com. Since the restaurant number, date and time from your receipt only work on WendysWantsToKnow.com, there’s no reason to share them with anyone else.

    Open the survey at www.WendysWantsToKnow.com

With your Wendy’s receipt ready, press the button below or type the address:

    Open WendysWantsToKnow.com

The button opens WendysWantsToKnow.com, home of the Wendy’s Customer Satisfaction Survey on SMG (Service Management Group) software. Also, typing TalkToWendys.com gets you to the same page.

Quick answer: WendysWantsToKnow.com and TalkToWendys.com are the same Wendy’s survey. First, it asks for the restaurant number, date and time from your receipt. Guides report that finishing it earns a validation code for the offer printed on the receipt, such as a free Dave’s Single with a purchase. The start page itself names no reward and no deadline, so read your receipt for the exact deal and any dates.

The free food offer behind WendysWantsToKnow

Wendy’s doesn’t print the reward on the survey’s start page. Instead, guides describe it. SurveyMemo says that after the survey you’ll receive a validation code to write on your original receipt, and lists offers such as A free Dave’s Single with the purchase of a medium drink and fries.

So treat the reward as whatever your own receipt prints. Most reported offers also need a purchase on your next visit, and the code goes on the paper receipt. If the survey’s last page shows different terms, those terms win.

A Wendy's receipt showing the restaurant number, date and time the WendysWantsToKnow survey asks for

Match your receipt to the WendysWantsToKnow boxes

The survey’s calendar won’t accept a future date, and its time menu runs from 01 to 12 with AM or PM. So enter your receipt’s date and time, and the tool then shows exactly what to pick. Everything stays in your browser.

    What WendysWantsToKnow.com asks for

The start page says Please enter the following information from your receipt. After that come three fields: Restaurant Number, Date of Visit and Time of Visit.

The restaurant number’s length isn’t published, though its box holds eight characters. Meanwhile, the date opens a calendar that ends at today, and the time uses hour, minute and AM or PM menus.

However, there’s no survey-code box and no stated deadline. Still, guides say offers expire, so take the survey soon after you eat.

How to complete the WendysWantsToKnow survey

    1. First, find the restaurant number, date and time on your Wendy’s receipt, and note any offer it prints.
    2. Then go to www.wendyswantstoknow.com, or type TalkToWendys.com, which forwards there.
    3. Next, type the restaurant number from your receipt into the first box.
    4. Pick the visit date in the calendar, then the hour, minute and AM or PM.
    5. After that, answer the questions about your visit.

    Fixes for WendysWantsToKnow problems

    • If TalkToWendys.com won’t load, type WendysWantsToKnow.com instead. In fact, in our check only the plain http:// version of TalkToWendys forwarded correctly.
    • When the calendar won’t let you pick a date, it’s probably in the future, because the calendar stops at today.
    • If your receipt shows 24-hour time, such as 17:30, choose 05, 30 and PM.
    • When the survey says the visit was already used, SMG’s terms allow only one survey per code or link.
    • If a cashier won’t honor the offer, compare your order with the purchase the receipt requires, and check any date printed on it.

Claims about the Wendy’s survey that don’t hold up

    Guide saysThe survey shows
“Choose your language. English, Spanish, or French.” (talktowendys.surveymemo.com)However, the start page offers English and an Español link, with no French option
“You must be able to complete the survey in English, Spanish, or French.” (donotpay.com)Again, only English and Spanish are offered
“You must be 18 years or older to complete the survey.” (donotpay.com)The survey states no age, while SMG’s terms set 13 as the default
Title: “Get Free Food at Any Wendy’s” (donotpay.com)SurveyMemo itself says to bring the receipt “to the same Wendy’s location”, and the start page also promises no food at all

    Avoid fake Wendy’s survey pages

The survey lives at WendysWantsToKnow.com, and TalkToWendys.com also forwards there. Its footer reads © 2026 SMG. Pages on other addresses that ask for your receipt details, an email or a card number aren’t the survey, and this site isn’t Wendy’s either.

In addition, the survey never charges anything. If someone says you won a Wendy’s prize but must pay to claim it, walk away, since the FTC says real prizes are free.

Is there a Wendy’s survey sweepstakes or mail-in entry?

We didn’t find one. The start page links no sweepstakes rules, so there’s no drawing to enter and nothing to mail.

    WendysWantsToKnow FAQ

    Starting the survey

    Is WendysWantsToKnow.com legit?

Yes. It’s the Wendy’s Customer Satisfaction Survey on SMG software, and it also links to Wendy’s own privacy policy.

Are TalkToWendys.com and WendysWantsToKnow.com the same?

Yes. When we typed TalkToWendys.com, it forwarded to WendysWantsToKnow.com.

What do I need from my Wendy’s receipt?

You need the restaurant number, the date of your visit and the time of your visit. However, there’s no survey code box.

How do I enter the time from my receipt?

Pick the hour from 01 to 12, then the minute and AM or PM. So 17:30 becomes 05, 30 and PM.

Can I take the Wendy’s survey in Spanish?

Yes. Use the Español link on the start page. We saw no French option.

Is there an age limit for the Wendy’s survey?

The survey doesn’t state one, but SMG’s survey terms set 13 as the default minimum.

The offer and the validation code

What do I get for the WendysWantsToKnow survey?

Guides report a validation code for the offer printed on your receipt, such as a free Dave’s Single with a purchase. However, the start page itself doesn’t name a reward.

Do I need to buy something to use the Wendy’s offer?

Usually, yes. Guides report offers that need a purchase, such as a medium drink and fries, so check your receipt’s wording.

How long is the Wendy’s validation code good for?

The start page doesn’t say. Look for a date on your receipt or the survey’s last page, and use the offer soon.

Can I take the Wendy’s survey twice with one receipt?

No. SMG’s terms say a code or link that has already been used to submit responses can’t complete another survey.

Is there a Wendy’s survey sweepstakes?

We found none, because the start page links no sweepstakes rules.

What this Wendy’s survey guide is based on

The reward details come from published guides, because the start page doesn’t state them. Whatever your receipt and the survey’s last page say is final.

Seen a Wendy’s receipt offer or expiry date we should add? If so, send it to contact@myreceiptsays.com, and read our editorial policy to see how we verify it. We also cover the Burger King, McDonald’s and Culver’s surveys.

myreceiptsays.com wrote this WendysWantsToKnow page on its own; The Wendy’s Company and SMG didn’t endorse or check it. Also, Wendy’s and Dave’s Single are trademarks of their owner, used here only to name the survey. So your receipt and the survey’s own pages outrank this summary.
