Every RossListens fact on this page comes from two places we read on October 28, 2026: the Ross Customer Satisfaction Survey’s welcome page and the sweepstakes rules linked from its footer.
Independent guide. Ross Dress for Less and SMG, the survey’s software company, play no part in running myreceiptsays.com. So the 15-digit number on your receipt, and your entry details, belong on RossListens.com alone.
Go to www.RossListens.com
Find your Ross receipt, then open the survey:
In fact, the button opens RossListens.com, the Ross Customer Satisfaction Survey, which runs on SMG (Service Management Group) software.
Short answer: type the 15-digit number from the top of your Ross receipt at RossListens.com, finish the survey, and enter that month’s sweepstakes. In return, each month Ross gives away one $1,000 Ross Stores gift card and five $100 gift cards. However, you must be 18 or older and live in an eligible state, and you can enter once a day online or by a free mail-in card.
RossListens prizes: $1,000 plus five $100 gift cards a month
The rules spell it out: There will be one (1) grand prize consisting of a $1,000.00 Ross Stores gift card, and five (5) second prizes consisting of a $100.00 Ross Stores gift card.
In total, that’s $1,500 in gift cards for each monthly entry period.
So the drawing isn’t a single winner a month, as some guides claim. Six people can win each month, though each person can win only once during the whole promotion. Your odds depend on how many eligible entries Ross receives that month.
Then winners are notified by phone or email within 30 days of being picked. After that, they have 72 hours to respond, and prizes go out about eight to ten weeks after the month ends.

| Entry period | Monthly: from 12 a.m. Pacific Time on the 1st to 12 a.m. Pacific Time on the last day of the month |

| Also eligible | District of Columbia and Guam |
| Entry limit | One per person per day, “with or without receipt” |

Also, note the odd end time: each period closes at 12 a.m. Pacific on the last day of the month, so don’t leave a month’s entry until its final day.

Split your Ross number into the five boxes
Specifically, RossListens.com wants 15 digits across five boxes that take 4, 2, 4, 4 and 1 digits. So type the number from the top of your receipt, and the tool then shows what goes in each box. It runs only in your browser.
What RossListens.com asks for
The welcome page asks one thing: Please enter the 15-digit number at the top of your receipt.
It then splits the number into five boxes.
Next, it explains the drawing: Upon completion of this survey, you will be given the opportunity to enter our sweepstakes.
It adds that you must be a legal U.S. resident aged 18 or older, and it links the full rules at the bottom.
Also, an Español link switches the survey to Spanish. Neither the page nor the rules set a deadline for using a receipt, but each monthly drawing closes on schedule, so don’t wait.
How to take the RossListens survey
- First, find the 15-digit number at the top of your Ross receipt.
- Next, go to www.rosslistens.com, and tap Español if you’d like the survey in Spanish.
- Then type the number across the five boxes: 4, 2, 4, 4 and 1 digits.
- After that, answer the questions about your Ross visit.
- Once the survey ends, take the opportunity to enter that month’s sweepstakes with your contact details.
- Finally, remember you can enter once per day, with or without a receipt, until the month’s drawing closes.

When RossListens won’t accept your number
- If the number is rejected, check you used the one at the top of the receipt, as the survey asks, not a number from the bottom.
- When the boxes fill unevenly, type 4, 2, 4, 4 and then 1 digits, or use the splitter above.
- If you live in Alaska, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Vermont, you can take the survey, but those states aren’t on the rules’ eligible list for the sweepstakes.
- When you’ve already entered today, wait until tomorrow, because the rules allow one entry per person per day.
Enter the Ross sweepstakes by mail
On a 3″ x 5″ card, hand print in black or blue ink your first and last name, mailing address with ZIP code (no P.O. boxes), daytime phone number, email address and year of birth. Then mail it, first-class with postage paid, to:

Postmark it during the month you’re entering. Also, Ross must receive it by 12 a.m. Pacific Time on the last day of that month, so mail it early.

RossListens mistakes in popular guides
| The guide says | The survey or rules say |
|---|---|
| “12 winners are selected each year—one per month” (rosslistens.surveymemo.com) | Actually, each month has one $1,000 winner and five $100 winners |
| “One entry per person, per month” (rosslistens.surveymemo.com) | “Entries are limited to one person per day” |
| “The 15-digit survey code printed near the bottom” (rosslistens.surveymemo.com) | However, the survey asks for “the 15-digit number at the top of your receipt” |
| You’ll need “The store number” and “The date and time of your visit” (rosslistens.surveymemo.com) | Instead, the welcome page asks only for the 15-digit number |
| “You must be 18 or older and a U.S. resident” (rosslistens.surveymemo.com) | In fact, seven states aren’t on the rules’ eligible list |
Fake Ross survey sites and prize scams
The survey is at RossListens.com, and its footer reads © 2026 SMG
next to a Sweepstakes Rules link. Other sites using the RossListens name aren’t the survey, and this site isn’t Ross either, so enter your receipt number only there.
Also, Ross reaches winners by phone or email and never charges a fee. If someone asks you to pay, buy a gift card or share bank details to claim a Ross prize, it’s a scam, and the FTC says real prizes never cost money.
